We also store your IP address and the name of your Internet service provider for seven days for security reasons, in particular to prevent and detect attacks on our websites or attempts at fraud.

We only store other personal data if you provide this data, e.g. as part of a registration, a contact form, a survey, a price competition or for the execution of a contract, and even in these cases only insofar as this is permitted to us on the basis of a consent given by you or in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.

You are not legally or contractually obliged to make available your personal data. However, it is possible that certain functions of our websites depend on the availability of personal data. If you do not make available personal data in these cases, this may result in functions not being available or only being available to a limited extent.

Insofar as the following sections contain nothing to the contrary, the data processing is undertaken exclusively by CN Drying Technology GmbH.

Cookies

We use cookies on our site. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit my site. Cookies do not harm your device, do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malicious software.

In the cookie information is stored, each resulting in connection with the specific terminal used. However, this does not mean that we are immediately aware of your identity.

On the one hand, the use of cookies serves to make the use of our offer more pleasant for you. For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages on our website. These are automatically deleted after leaving our page.

In addition, to improve usability, we also use temporary cookies that are stored on your device for a specified period of time. If you visit our site again to take advantage of our services, it will automatically recognize that you have already been with us and what inputs and settings you have made, so you do not have to re-enter them.

On the other hand, we use cookies in order to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer (see Section 5). These cookies allow us to automatically recognize when you visit our site again that you have already been with us. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined time.

The data processed by cookies are for the purposes mentioned in order to safeguard our legitimate interests as well as third parties according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO required.

Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or always a hint appears before a new cookie is created. However, disabling cookies completely may mean that you can not use all features of our website.

Purpose of use

We use the personal data collected when you visit our website in order to operate our site in the most convenient manner for your use and to protect our IT systems from attacks and other illegal activities.

If you provide us with further personal data, e.g. within the scope of a registration, a contact form, a survey, a price competition or for the execution of a contract, we use this data for the purposes mentioned, for the purposes of customer administration and - if necessary - for the purposes of processing and accounting of any business transactions, in each case to the extent required for this.

Disclosure of data

A transfer of your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those listed below does not take place.

Our website may also contain offers of third parties. If you click on such an offer, we transfer data to the respective provider to the required extent (e.g. information that you have found this offer with us and, if applicable, further information that you have already provided on our websites for this purpose).

When we use social plug-ins on our websites from social networks such as LinkedIn, we integrate them as follows:

When you visit our websites, the social plug-ins are deactivated, i.e. no data is transmitted to the operators of these networks. If you want to use one of the networks, click on the respective social plug-in to establish a direct connection to the server of the respective network.

If you have a user account on the network and are logged in when you activate the social plug-in, the network can associate your visit to our websites with your user account. If you want to avoid this, please log out of the network before activating the social plug-in.

When you activate a social plug-in, the network transfers the content that becomes available directly to your browser, which integrates it into our websites. In this situation, data transmissions can also take place that are initiated and controlled by the respective social network. Your connection to a social network, the data transfers taking place between the network and your system, and your interactions on that platform are governed solely by the privacy policies of that network.

Linkedin informs about their privacy policies over the following link:

https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy

The social plug-in remains active until you deactivate it or delete your cookies.

If you click on the link to an offer or activate a social plug-in, personal data may reach providers in countries outside the European Economic Area that, from the point of view of the European Union ("EU"), may not guarantee an "adequate level of protection" for the processing of personal data in accordance with EU standards. Please remember this fact before clicking on a link or activating a social plug-in and thereby triggering a transfer of your data.

Analysis of usage data; use of analysis tools

We would like to tailor the content of our websites as precisely as possible to your interests and in this way improve our offer for you. In order to identify usage preferences and particularly popular areas of the websites, we use the following analysis tool(s): Google Analytics, Hotjar.

When using these analysis tools, data may be transferred to servers located in the USA and processed there. Please note the following: In the USA, the European Union considers that there is no "adequate level of protection" for the processing of personal data in accordance with EU standards. However, this level of protection can be replaced for individual companies by certification according to the so-called "EU-U.S. Privacy Shield".

If you do not want us to collect and analyze information about your visit to our website using the analysis tools mentioned above, you can object to this at any time with effect for the future ("opt-out").

We implement your objection by setting an opt-out cookie in your browser. This cookie is only used to associate your objection. Please note that for technical reasons, an opt-out cookie only works in the browser in which it was set. If you delete the cookies or use a different browser or device, please opt-out again.

Below you will find information on the providers of the analysis tools we use and the respective opt-out options:

Google Inc. (“Google“):

Google is certified according to the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield.
You can prevent the transfer of your data and its collection and processing by Google. Google informs about this via the following link:

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies" — text files that are stored on your computer and enable the analysis of website usage.

The information produced by the cookie about your use of this website is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will first be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyze your use of the website, compile reports about website activities and provide the site operator with other services relating to website and internet use. The IP address sent by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

You may prevent cookies from being stored on your computer by selecting the relevant setting in your browser software; however, we would like to point out that in this case some parts of this website may lose full functionality.

You can also prevent Google from collecting and processing the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

HotJar ("HotJar"):

We use https://www.hotjar.com in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback.

Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices (in particular device's IP address (captured and stored only in anonymized form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), preferred language used to display our website). You can opt-out to the creation of a user profile, Hotjar’s storing of data about your usage of our site and Hotjar’s use of tracking cookies on other websites by following this opt-out link (https://www.hotjar.com/legal/compliance/opt-out).

Email-Form Submissions

When you choose to contact us via one of the form sign-ups on this website your your form-data will be securely processed by WebFlow.

Form submissions are sent securely from a site visitor’s browser to Webflow’s servers over HTTPS
Webflow’s database servers are hosted on the Amazon Web Services cloud within the United States
All of their database servers are isolated from the public internet via Amazon’s Virtual Private Cloud 2, and access to our servers is controlled under strict security protocols

All form submission data is stored in an encrypted database.

Webflow is certified under the Privacy Shield 1 program, which creates a legal framework for transferring the data of EU/Swiss subjects outside of Europe. We provide more detail about this in the International Transfers section of our EU & Swiss Privacy Policy 1.

They  store the IP address associated with that form submission to prevent brute-force submissions (and soon, when we release reCAPTCHA functionality for forms, the IP address will be used to prevent against certain types of CAPTCHA-circumvention attacks by spammers). We’re currently investigating whether it makes sense to place a shorter retention policy on these addresses.

Webflow staff does not have direct access to form submission data, and it’s automatically removed for debugging operations (for example, when a customer asks our support team to investigate a bug on one of their sites and we clone that site for analysis, the cloned site does not contain any visitor or form submission data). There are strong access control and security policies in place that prevent access to this data.

They only make form submission data available to the us so that we can use it for the purpose for which it was collected.

Neither Webflow nor we will ever share, pass on, analyze, or sell any form submission data to any other parties. We believe this would be a fundamental breach of the trust you place in us as a website hosting and management platform

Security

We use technical and organisational security measures to protect your data managed by us against manipulation, loss, destruction and against access by unauthorised persons. We are constantly improving our security measures in line with technological developments.

We use the popular SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method within the site visit, combined with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. In general, this is a 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, We use 128-bit v3 technology instead. Whether a single page of our website is encrypted is shown by the closed representation of the key or lock icon in the lower status bar of your browser.

Legal base of processing

Insofar as you have given us your consent for the processing of your personal data, that consent is the legal basis for the processing (Art. 6 para. 1 letter a GDPR).

For the processing of personal data for the purposes of initiating or fulfilling a contract with you, Art. 6 para. 1 letter b GDPR is the legal basis.

Insofar as the processing of your personal data is necessary for the fulfilment of our legal obligations (e.g. for the retention of data), we are authorized to do so pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 letter c GDPR.

In addition, we process personal data for the purposes of safeguarding our legitimate interests and the legitimate interests of third parties pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 letter f GDPR. Maintaining the functionality of our IT systems, marketing our own and third-party products and services as well as documenting business contacts as required by law are such legitimate interests.

Deletion of your personal data

Your IP address and the name of your Internet service provider, which we only store for security reasons, will be deleted after seven days. Otherwise, we delete your personal data as soon as the purpose for which we have collected and processed the data ceases to apply.

Beyond this point in time, data is only stored if this is required by the laws, regulations or other legal provisions of the European Union or of a member state of the European Union to which we are subject.

Rights of the data subject

As a data subject, you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

If you have consented to the processing of your personal data by us, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time. The legality of processing your personal data before revocation remains unaffected. We may further process such data pursuant to another applicable legal basis, e.g. for the fulfilment of our legal obligations (cf. section "Legal bases of processing").

You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 letter e GDPR (data processing in the public interest) or Art. 6 para. 1 letter f GDPR (data processing on the basis of a balance of interests) on grounds relating to your particular situation. If you object, we will only process your personal data if we can prove compelling legitimate reasons that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

We ask you to address your claims or declarations to the following contact address if possible: admin@dryingtechnology.de

If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates legal requirements, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
